St. Thomas Aquinas School

St. Thomas Aquinas School is a lively K-6 school located in the Glendale neighbourhood of southwest Calgary. With about 175 students, we're all about creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where respect, teamwork, and academic excellence thrive. Right now, many of our books are over 30 years old and don’t represent our diverse student body, and we don’t have enough series for all the grades, so they are limited to choose by their division, which makes it tough to engage all our readers and support their literacy growth. Through the Adopt a School fundraiser we are hoping to add new books to our library that are of high interest and add to our series collections that inspire a love of reading and enhance literacy skills, and build cultural awareness across our school community.
