Frank J. Mitchell Elementary School

In our school, we face challenges with low literacy engagement and outdated books in our library. With an average book age of 17 years, there is a pressing need to enhance the quality and diversity of literary materials available to students. With the help from the Adopt a School fundraiser, we will be able to improve equitable access to literary materials across all classroom libraries, ensuring students have access to books that reflect their backgrounds and experiences, and books that they are excited to read!
