Fitch Street School

Accessing new books through the Adopt A School grant would greatly enhance the resources available to our students at Fitch Street School, enabling us to address various literacy needs and foster a comprehensive learning environment. We also aim to cultivate a diverse and inclusive reading culture that reflects the backgrounds and experiences of all our students. By acquiring books that feature diverse characters, cultures, and perspectives, we can promote empathy, understanding, and appreciation for differences among our students. We want our students to see themselves in the books that they read and we want to hear from a variety of voices/authors with diverse backgrounds.
