Cherrytree Public School

Cherrytree Public School is a K-5 elementary school in the Peel District School Board. We are located in Brampton, Ontario and serve approximately 400 students. Literacy plays an integral role as it is integrated across all subject areas across all grade levels. The students at Cherrytree enjoy reading both fiction and high interest non-fiction texts. Every homeroom class has the opportunity to visit the Library Learning Commons to sign-out books on a regular basis. Many of our students are avid readers and some students read lengthy chapter books within a couple of days! Reading is important to our students, and we have three Scholastic Book Fairs at Cherrytree every year! Cherrytree Families are very supportive and in a collaborative partnership between the home and school, we continue to encourage student reading! We would appreciate your support as all money raised will go directly to purchasing new books for our school Library that will benefit all students at all grade levels. Thank you for your support!
